Actual crash site

When you first arrive on the site, you see the fence and the benches and it takes you a moment
to actually realize where the crash took place.  A flag has been placed there to mark the site.
It is quite a distance out in the field.
Benches with the names of the crew and passengers face outward toward the crash site.
Behind the benches is a fence where visitors can leave a flag or other momento.
Facing the benches is a row of angels, one for each of the passengers and crew.
A permanent national memorial is being planned.
